Association Management Services MEMBERSHIP- Jones, McAden & Associates is experienced in designing and implementing membership campaigns. The firm also works to maintain membership. JMA maintains rosters of organization members and processes membership dues annually. Individual files are maintained on members including applications and other pertinent information for each organization. JMA maintains mailing lists of members and potential members for distributing newsletters, meeting announcements, directories, special news releases and meeting information. BOOKKEEPING/FINANCES- Jones, McAden & Associates provides computerized bookkeeping services, budget preparation, and research for clients to invest funds. Financial reports for the leaders and membership may be provided by JMA. The firm also coordinates clients' finances with a CPA to complete all necessary IRS and State Department of Revenue forms for organizations and makes sure that the organization maintains financial records to protect their nonprofit status. Publications - Jones, McAden & Associates publishes newsletters, varying in size and design, for all clients, meeting their special needs and audiences. Preparation of annual reports and directories is available by the firm as well as distribution of news releases. Membership and information brochures may be created for clients. Governmental bulletins and legislative alerts are written, printed and distributed when needed. In the new era of publications and publicity, the use of broadcast FAX/Email, the Internet and home pages are available. Meeting Planning - Jones, McAden & Associates sets up clients' board meetings, general membership meetings, annual meetings, conventions, seminars, trade shows and other special events. The firms' responsibilities for these meetings include finding suitable sites, sending meeting notices, dealing with the facility's personnel and taking the minutes of the meetings. The firm has experience in arranging meetings from small board meetings to trade shows and conventions lasting several days. JMA is responsible for national meetings as well as numerous statewide meetings. JMA creates the marketing pieces for large meetings and trade shows. Lobbying Services - Jones, McAden & Associates offers complete governmental affairs services to its clients. JMA works with the General Assembly, its committees, its many staff members and with all government agencies on legislation. The lobbying service includes legislative research and reporting. Joe Jones is a registered lobbyist for two clients. JMA is also responsible for coordinating annual legislative receptions for the South Carolina General Assembly and develops grassroots lobbying campaigns for individual clients.
